#11 - Use setbacks as motivation

Sometimes athletes have a bad day on the field or court. A lot of different athletes are really tough on there self when they make one bad play; sometimes that one play could effect your play for the remainder of the game. One another note some athletes don't have the season there were suppose to have but with that being said you can use your failures as a springboard to your success. If athletes sit down and do there research they would find out that every athlete or team uses significant losses to motivate themselves to improve them in the upcoming season or year.
